Membership in CARES is open to the chief government officials who are responsible for the oversight and enforcement of amusement ride and recreational equipment regulations within their jurisdiction.

Note: By charter, full membership in CARES is restricted to U.S. and Canadian officials. Government ride safety officials from other countries may qualify for associate membership in CARES.
